Adjacent to Avington Trout Fishery is the Park Golf Course which opened in 1995. This 9 hole course has been carefully designed to compliment the existing beauty of Avington Park and the mature trees ensure the course has an established air.
It has already gained a reputation for being one of the best courses in the area.
The USGA specification greens and high standard of maintenance ensure that the course is a challenge to the occassional golfer as well as being of interest to the handicap player.
Together with the Park Golf Course we are able to arrange the combination of Fly Fishing and Golfing corporate days.
It would be possible for up to 30 persons to angle in the morning whilst a similiar number golfed, and for the anglers and golfers to change sports in the afternoon, thus accommodating a total of 60 corporate guests.
With Stapleford scoring for golf plus 2 points for each pound of trout caught, a prize giving could take place in the Lodge at the Fishery.
Additional Extras
A wide variety of additional facilities including excellent catering and beverages, fish cleaning and filleting, can be arranged to make this the most memorable day of the year.
